Nolan and Brooks Visit Washington, DC for ASAE’s American Associations Day

AMC Source Co-Presidents Debra S. Nolan, CAE, IOM and Gregory Brooks recently visited Washington, DC for ASAE’s American Associations Day annual legislative fly-in. The two day event gave association professionals the opportunity to:

• Inform Hill staff about how their associations build up America’s economy,

• Help grow support for policies that promote robust, inclusive pandemic recovery; and

• Learn key principles in association advocacy and tips to build successful policy programs.

It was great to return to our nation’s Capitol and meet with members of Congress to discuss the Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act. This important bi-partisan legislation helps develop America’s workforce through certifications and credentialing programs offered by associations that represent many professions and industries. A special thanks to ASAE and our association management colleagues for helping deliver our unified message.
