AMC Source is excited to welcome Christina Stephens to the team as an Association Executive specializing in Meetings & Events and Strategy. In this role, Christina uses her extensive hospitality experience, Bachelor's in Hospitality Management, and Master's in Mass Media Communication to deliver strategic design for meetings and events, and strategic leadership in other areas of association management. With experience and expertise in both in-person and virtual meeting and event management, Christina is well-versed in all logistical aspects, member/presenter engagement and communication, and vendor/contractor negotiations.
Christina’s experience working for some of the world’s most well-known and respected companies, including Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and Woodspring Hotels, has taken her across the country and exposed her to all areas of operations in restaurant, hotel and entertainment settings. She has had her hand in hotel design, worked closely with housekeeping and front-of-house personnel, banquet, convention and event planning staff, and was a key member of a small team responsible for revamping Marriott’s dining entities to shift guest’s perception of the company’s food and beverage programs. In her most recent role as a Director of Operations with Marriott, she oversaw all restaurant operations in addition to engineering, events and line dancing.
In her time away from work, Christina enjoys cooking, reading and creating art, including commissioned pieces. When she’s not at home, she’s likely volunteering, taking in live music or comedy, or tearing up the dance floor.
